Default caliper painting question....not a typical one though, so stop rolling your eyes..lol

I'm gonna paint my calipers red and I;m having the brackets chromed.

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully filled in those 3 divets on the edge of the front calipers somehow. Ugly *** divets.

I was thinking of having a welder fill in the divets with weld, then grind it smooth. You think that will cause any problems?

Well, I think with open wheels it wouldn't be too bad on the up keep.. And with a power ball or cone it will be really easy..

Oh man..chrome is soap and water and you're done. I know so many people with chrome rims and they are trouble free for the past decade. And I'm just doing the brackets in chrome, gonna paint the calipers.

There's a chrome shop here that will also chrome plate my calipers for $90.00 each. I am still considering having that done. They look amazing like that.

Here's what they look like chrome plated. "97ramsst" did it.
