Brilliant haha. I may start here, get the hood, and paint it. Then lower it.

No, only the TA's had TA spoilers. Formulas had the low rise/fitted spoiler just like the V6's...every 93-02 formula had that spoiler. (I geuss the Formula Firehawks had a few different spoilers-none of which where the Trans am high rise spoiler.)

That and the Pontiac "Banshee"...the side profile looks way too much like a riced out Honda with a huge spoiler, and straight shot from the back it just looks goofy without the Trans am Bumper.

Honeycombs add a completely different look to the car. LT1 cars didn't have honeycomb taillights at all factory. The V6's had plain, red taillights like you have, and the V8 cars (trans am and formula alike) had the "grid" style with a bunch of rectangles and square reverse lights.

All 98-02 cars had the honeycomb tail lights with the circular reverse lights, regardless if it was a V6, W68, Formula, Trans Am, WS6, Firehawk, whatever, they all had the same tail lights from the factory.

All 93-02 Firebird taillights are interchangeable, however.

I did know about the 93-02 lights.and I honestly have to say the high spoiler on the Banshee looks good with the long pointed end, it fits well.

Wheels, that way if you sell the car down the road you can always re-sell them or put them on your new LS1 car.

Honestly if you aren't planning on dumping a LT1/LS1 into this car and are just wanting to refresh the look of it I'd just find another stock hood and get it painted or fix your exsisting hood. Then I would do this:

-wheels + tires-$800-in all honesty, OEwheels offers some of the best pricing other then local classified adds or what not.
-tint-$100
-lower-$250-that's if you go expensive, you can find a set of used springs for $100 in the classifieds and then replace your shocks if needed.
-tail lights-$200-again this sites classifieds will yield you a nice used setup.

This was my car like 5 years ago lowered with tint and wheels...

PLEASE don't do the trans am spoiler, it looks awful on v6/formula cars without the ground effects/ front bumper.
Lemme get this straight...you think this looks awful?

You're nuts haha.

^gotta silence the nay-sayers it certainly looks good

but we all know the high-rise still looks better with the t/a bumper + sideskirts. personally, i really like the low-rise with the t/a bumper + sideskirts

The 97 Formula Firehawk did in fact have the OEM Trans Am spoiler as an option . Pic below is a SLP pic , not a private owner .

You really wanna dramatically change the look of the car, rims and lowering springs is where I would start . Then go from there .

I will start looking the classifieds, the more I see lowered F bodies the more I want one hahaha. But since my hood is messed up thats pretty high priority, hard to look good with fucked up parts from wrecks.

No, that looks pretty damn good-But 9.9 times out of 10 nobody gets it anywhere near as clean as you did. The big exhaust tips and lowering it definately helped un-goof the looks. I still think it looks better with the trans am bumper/ground effects, tho. To each their own.

Really not a fan of how that firehawk looks with the spoiler either.

In this order. Minor visual stuff (debadging, antenna, VHT), hood, lowering, tint, then keep my eyes out for a good set of wheels.

I know what you mean. But the wheels I have on are already aftermarket, idk if I want to upgrade again. How much could I sell these for?
