Props for the post. I'm afraid you missed a few adjectives, though. I believe psycho, stalker bitch falls into that list for her as well.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info LT4! Learn something new everyday haha. I would LOVE if there was a review out there or something that would compare the major brands and adhesives they offer with heat, durability, strength, etc tests, side-by-side. Or perhaps there is one and I haven't found it.

How about some updates, OP? Haha. I have to admit, interior threads like this are my favorite to follow.

yup heres some picks from today.

Its not much, it takes alot of time to do this.

I sanded on the adhesive some, then applied more to it. Waited a few hours for it to dry then came back sanded some more and started cutting the for switches.

I know it doesn't look like much, but to anyone who has really done something like this will understand the timely manner it takes.

And for those asking about the wiring, I plan to just simply pull the wiring from the door into the dash and extend it as necessary it should be quiet simple.

Thoughts about gloss black as accent color?

LT4vert, thanks for the advice im going to take it. Wheres the best supply for some of these adhesives? I would rather pick something up in town but I can order online if need be.

Its to bad the stuff I picked up doesnt cut it, I generally expect 3M to be top of the line quality.

I bought some Vinyl yesterday and am going to start doing the door panels, the center console, and the entire dash sometime before the car is all back together.

Im going to get some black dye for the carpet and do that with some sound deadening

Havn't gotten to that part yet.

Im considering just removing the door lock switches all together though, because I have a viper alarm and such to unlock the doors.

i was gonna look into bmw stuff, just cause i know the feel will be right. Unfortunately, while they do usually mount them in the middle of the console, youll need to get them from a car without back doors, or at least that you can pop off the rear buttons and retain the wiring. id check z3/4s, 3 series coupes, etc... Then again, there could be tons of other buttons that fit the bill that i havent looked at, older audis were really knobby but the TTs might have good window switches, etc.

I think some even have the 'auto' function built in.. definitely keep us updated

I might try and find a GTO thats being parted and take those, they are clean. Hmmmmm

Also since the buttons are being moved, the door panels are going to have the spots shaved ofc.. Im just so unsure as to what I want to do about a accent color.

and don't go extending all the wires. Use some relays instead.

The a pillar looks great.. I think as long as you work your way out from the center it will come out good and wrinkle free..

i like the wrapping of the a-pillar but i have always hated how the gto's have the window switches in the center... i also am curious to see how the pillars turn out,i might try and tackle that job seeing how i have some extra's lying around.
