Owning Movie props (Suits, etc....) I feel I can help out! Letting both sides win!
Actually the 1989 BATMAN, & 1992 BATMAN RETURNS were both Matte/Satin Black
The 1995 BATMAN & ROBIN, & 1995 BATMAN FOREVER & Adam West were GLOSS;

BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT, & THE DARK KNIGHT RISES will all be the Flat Black Tumbler
So in a way you both do....

Haha i knew someone would catch onto the old ones. Most people now only know of the "new" batmobile. Atleast once a week I have a chick saying my car is the batmobile and everytime i pass a little kid they do a full turn and point haha
