Future of our business, gauge overlays, etc...
Well, as many of you know plans were to shut the doors in a few months. Reasons were simple, time. I do the following for a living:
Full time actor (just GETTING a job takes 40 hours a week of work let alone the job itself)...
Manage an apartment complex...
Run this business.
I couldn't do it all anymore so the business was the easiest to have to say good bye to... Well, in that time things have changed.
Being bluntly honest, running an apartment complex with my wife has pretty much killed our relationship. Living where you work sucks. Job is easy but being 38 people's go to neighbor is never ending.
SO, we will be putting our notice in this month. I've known this for awhile (few months, hence new products) but couldn't say anything publicly until we secured a new place to live and are ready to tell the owner.
That being said, not only do I have time for the business but am actually concentrating way more efforts to it.
As you can see we've been developing product after product (have a new gauge pod coming out in a couple weeks that is like the one for Mustangs but fits our dash, will be sealing the deal on the targa, diffusers, etc...) and are at the point where we are going to be doing a lot more in house.
FOR EXAMPLE, GAUGE OVERLAYS. The company we've used decided to repeatedly punish us by raising prices on materials, etc... instead of rewarding our loyalty and the work we've brought them.
SO, McNord and I are dropping $10K of our own money into buying everything we need to do this in house. We are restructuring it to make it easier and hoping to have a flash driven site that will pretty much allow you to create AND SEE your own overlay before you order.
This will also cut down on time to get them made because we won't be waiting in someone else's queue BUT we'll still have to try to do them in group purchases to keep price down on materials.
So, long story short, we're not going anywhere but we need money so buy some stuff !

Hopefully everything with you and the misses will work out, that's what's important.
Glad to see you're keeping your side business going, can't wait to see future products.

I understand the actor thing man. My uncle is a full time actor, he played the neighbor in whipit. He was telling me this weekend all the work he has to go just to get work. Hope all goes well.

Sell stock buddy....
I'll buy the first 100 shares!!
Glad to hear that, gonna get the tweeter pod from you on 16 Sep.
I plan on getting a "GOODIE" every 2 weeks following that.
I hope to see another gauge overlay group purchase.
Thanks again 6LITEREATER
