Default these south carolina bugs..

i have a yellow spot on my front fender where i smashed the hell out of some dragonfly or whatever it was and i noticed it when i washed my car this morning. after washing it i tried mcguairs cleaner wax, but it wouldnt come off. next i tried bug & tar remover still nothing. so i decided to bust out my mcguairs clay bar kit... and to my suprise its still wouldnt come off. anyone else have any suggestions? is there a better clay kit out there? or anything?

Yeah man, when you hit a bug down here, you need to wash it off asap. Sort of like bird poop. Rubbing compound should get it off. Just be careful with it.

Baking soda. No lie. Sprinkle some on a wet microfiber cloth and wipe the bugs away. No matter how old and baked on they are. Baking soda neutralizes the acid in the guts.

I'll have to keep that in mind as well.

For us Texians (yes I went waaay back on that one), we have to deal with the bull nose butterfly season.
