Dude, go away, pretty certain the OP hasn't the slightest care in the world what you have to say...your just agging him on.

The post was meant to show off and brag a little it about his really nice car. Don't think he was looking for a know-it-all. If he was desperate for technial assistance, then you seem to be the guy to ask.

Dont think he was asking

Like it or not this is a technical forum, and when someone goes spouting off blatantly incorrect information I would sure hope someone would correct them, I did just this. Never did I attack him or his car, I just corrected the false information he was publicly posting so others wouldn't become ignorant as well.
Try and relax, we are all on the same team here.

Correct, with additional subforum catagories such as this "non-technial one"

there is nothing different in the length of time a shock will last with cut springs, or lowering springs. I would rather spend $0 to lower my vehicle and ride like stock rather than fork out money to lower my vehicle and ride poorly (note: yes, with aftermarket shocks it will ride a lot better. But that is more money spent)

Im loving the people coming in here and acting like they know everything just because they read it somewhere. Until you have experience with something, you should not have an opinion.......but this IS LS1tech, and everyone is a know it all

I cut my stock springs and it rides and drives out great hell it even launches better. I think your car looks great bro keep it up. F the naysayers. Also there was an artical in Carcraft and they didnt like the ride hight of the aftermarket springs ,so they cut them to get the right hight that they wanted, so why not cut what you already have and spend the money elseware .

If I came off that way then I apologize, it just irritating seeing someone stating something of pure ignorance as fact and then getting all riled up when being corrected. I kept it public so when someone else reads the thread they won't be reading wrong statements as well.

The car looks great.. Its dead sexy, I just dont think I would trust driving that around with no front turn signals.

not taking sides on this debate, but i agree with doing this^. this may be the appearance section, but its still in a tech forum, so there's nothing wrong with informing on that basis as well. And although you may not think about this, these threads don't go away once they leave the first page, they stay in the system, so when some random new fbody owner is doing a search 3 years from now and they see this, it's good for them to be able to get both sides to be more knowledgeable in making their own decisions.

all that aside, the car looks good. I might have missed it, but what were you planning for the turn signals? thats really something you should have.
