what color is my car? the guy i bought it from told me it was SOM but the more i look at it it is looking closer to cayenne red. the pics are in the shade but it glows orange in direct sun.

No its has been repainted the original color was that gold color. I don't no why the seller would tell me that is was SOM and he was the one that had it painted. I didn't care wether the car was SOM or CR. So it is definitely CR then.

what the gold is a rare color. yes it is still gold under hood and carpet. i couldnt beat the price. the guy spent over 12,000 on restore with receipts to back nearly every dollar and he only got 5k outta me. i am glad he got rid of the original color imo i hate the gold. lol

To be honest I probably wouldn't have bought it that's how much I hate the gold. Although as I said before I did get a good deal. The receipt for just the crate motor is almost as much as what I paid for the car.

How many are we talking about if I were to ever sell this car if it would make it worth more I would paint it back to factory color. Would it make it worth more plus more collectible.

at the point that its not the factory paint the rare stuff goes out the window. you'd be selling a car thats had two full repaints.
either way, CRM is much nicer than the sport gold. And what happened to the car is 12 years that it needed a $12K restoring? accident?
