HEY VFN!
I'm also liking the WSQ design with side vents but without the top vents.
My version? The WSQ nostrils with the small side heat extractors and a flat top. This would make a very clean looking hood and eaiser to make. Kinda like these two put together:

I have to say, the new hood design looks great; however, the chop of it w/o the top heat (side ones can stay) looks absolutely beyond belief stunning.
Do we have any more news on this?

I don't get it-they check here what people like/don't like and do it the way most don't like it. How's that for marketing research?

Well...to explain...we worked closely with Qcon on his design.
When this thread was posted up...the design was already finished..and as of this point we are in the final stages of wrapping everything up.
We are always welcome to any suggestions but unfortunately it's not that easy to just go back and alter a mold when it's finished - making molds is a very expensive process and not to mention extremely labor intense.
We feel pretty confident that this hood will be a great attention grabber...something much different then what is currently on the market and will be pretty popular with our customers.
Thanks!
Jeanie
