I'm looking at a used set of Corbeaus, but they are sun faded. I was wondering if there are any dye's I could use? I checked in with my local upholstery shop, but they told me you usually end up with an uncomfortable crunchy seat.
They also told me it would cost more to recover them probably than to just buy them new.
So can I make these seats black again if I buy them and not end up with crunchy seats or stains from the dye all over me?
Oh yeah and I like Corbeau's description of their fabric, real informative as to what they are really made of.

Sadly most dyes either change the seats texture a lot or end up coming off/transferring easily to your clothes. I have yet to find a dye thats really worth the effort.
Any pictures of the seats?

Yeah I'm having a hell of a time finding affordable ones on here now. I missed out locally for a decent pair for $400. I'm getting used to stuff being available when I'm broke and nothing I need being around when I have funds.![Icon Lol](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_lol.gif)
theskitztikwon, I am well aware they aren't matching. They are close enough for me though, as I am currently rocking a Forza from like 1992 that is falling apart and a stocker, I just want seats with harnesses on both sides. The styling is close enough.
