Default Interesting Idea of Mine for T-Top Storage

alright so i have the subthump ttop box that supposedly holds the ttops but they keep getting scratched so i was thinking, i have the bottoms of my back seat out so i can store my college books and keep them from sliding, how would cutting the stock holders down the middle between the slots and setting them into the rear seat backing..
i know since its hard plastic it would hold and i can make some sort of support for it. i would make it so the drivers top goes behind the drivers seat, and the passenger goes behind the passenger seat. they would latch in the middle of the back seat. does it sound possible? very rarely does anyone sit in my back seat so if they ever do it will still fold up and it might just be uncomfortable

Interesting thought but why not put both put top tops in one side and use a rear delete box like the ones 6le sells.

Sorry If I don't have the right visual of how you planned to store em individually.

i just dont want to delete the rear seat. even though i never use it... if i stored then like they normally are in the trunk the backseat will not fold up due to the ttop holders sticking out too much

Honestly, I cant remember the last time I used my t-top holders.

I always have my rear seat folded down, so I just take the t-tops off and lay them on my back seat. Works fine for me, and they do not move around.

You could also just buy a t-top bag for third-gens. Nice, pleather and big GM logo. I used to use it when I had a system in my 1994...
