^ thats what i did and they look brand new cause i didnt wanna waiste time trying to cut the bumps off so i got the Meguires headlight restore kit that came with a buffing wheel and i couldnt get that good around the bumps so i left it and they were still hazy around so i hit the headlights with some clear coat and they look good as new

i didnt need to clear coat them cause the kit comes with a sealer that prevents your headlights from future hazing... and whats great about the sealer is it can be applied to any glass or clear plastic surface to remove waterspots or anything a wash wouldnt get off... i did my lights 6 months ago and they look the same as when i did them and i havnt even applied a new layer of the sealer they recomend about once every 6 months or so.

Yea I put about 1 hour into each light and I can't be happier I think any kit is good it just depends on time put into it. I just liked the kit that z06joe offered cause it came with the backing pads sandpaper and compound and polish to do well over 30 uses which is a lifetime basically... n e ways that's my 2 cents on it...
