i painted mine with krylon satin paint for plastic i think its called fuzion.
there is a lot of grease dirt and grime so prep is key.
some simple green and a lot of scrubing or you can go to wal mart and get the bondo brand black trim dye its like 10 bucks its by the body filler and sand paper in the auto section.
it will dye it back black and last a good wile as long as you dont use any strong cleaners on the wheel wells when you wash your car.

I used about 15 cans of underbody coating on the bottom of mine. (including the wheel wells)

I think thats gonna be the best idea...

Degreaser, and some 80 grit to scuff it up...

When you did the bottom of your car with the underbody coating, did it make a huge difference on road noise inside the cabin? I've been wanting to do this for a while and then also dynomat the rear wheel wells...

I think dynomat is meant for the interior of the car.....not out in the wheel wells.

That's a pretty good idea! I'll have to remember that when I get my car mini-tubbed!

If you simply hit it with a quality degreaser and a brush, then if results is where you want it. Hit it with a good all season dressing and it will keep it looking very good, factory look.

If it is that bad I would use a Semi gloss type paint.
