My feature in Super Chevy magazine.. pics!!
Well I got my March issue of Super Chevy yesterday and im VERY happy with the job they did.. the write-up was very complimentary to modern muscle cars and was much more than I expected from a magazine that focuses mostly on older cars -- Im really happy also that they moved the feature from the quarterly Camaro Performers mag to the the much bigger Super Chevy.. i guess they liked the pictures.. lol
Here is a quick pic of the layout.. there is also another third page with a pic of the interior and a long "Tech Specs" of all the modifications..
Here it is:

Since I got my SS it was goal to get it in a major publication.. mostly as a challenge and also because my father helped me build my old 67 Camaro and it was a cover car in the old Popular Cars magazine.. I got my SS shortly after my Dad passed away as a way to remember the good times we had working on the 67
Im also in the readers rides section of GMHTP and I hear Im also in Car Craft but I havent seen that yet..
Thanks for letting me share.. Maybe I can help convince the "old car" folks that our cars are relevant also..

Congrats Steve. My dream is to have one of my cars in Super Chvey some day. I have saved every issue for the past 11 years. Sweet car. I saw the pics of the new wheels and they look great too.

My 18" x 9.5" front and 18" x 10.5" rear Chrome Z06 Replicas ran me $1,300, plus tires.

Andy, You own a beautiful red convertable SS and a one of one stage II custom painted Berger.. Its I that am jealous of you (plus you have that hottie future wife of yours, whens the next date??) lol
Thanks for the comments everyone.. Here is a quick pic of my old 67 Camaro that was in the 1987 Popular Cars magazine..

The guy screwed up the story something fierce but it was a nice shoot
To those that mentioned that they want to get in mags all I can say is go to as many shows as you can (especially Super Chevy Show) and send pics into the readers rides sections.. its really more about being in the right place at the right time.. For instance it helps that im local to the Super Chevy HQ.. GMHTP is based in NJ, etc..

Hey the car looks hot. I have only one thing to suggest. Remove the side body moldings. Ever since I did it to my car, it's an eye sore when I see it on other ls1s.
