Again, if you had any common sense you would see that he was only using the front bumper of the 2010 for a EXAMPLE of how it would be insertable. This **** isn't rocket science. What next, since he used a picture of Vette and referenced that as well, it must be for the Vette too, right? And what makes it any harder to do it on a 4th gen Camaro than on a 5th gen?
There not going to make one thing that fits both. There going to make vents in C6 style that are specific for each car. So Yes they may make Zr1 Vent for both the Ta And 5gen camaro but each style vent will be specific fit for each car..

It'd probably need to be molded in to have a really finished look.

seems like something a couple people might try, but really wouldn't be worth it in the end.

Jesus Christ..Here we go again with the speculation...The FIFTH GEN CAMARO HAS NO PART IN THIS. There not gonna make **** for the fifth gen and are only THINKING of making something for the bird. I realize that there not gonna make one to fit both...And there not even sure of the style yet.

Sorry if that was in one of the many well thought out previous posts.

I was talking to Brian about doing something like this; replacing my ta vents with something a bit more fun. Ill be interested to see how this turns out
I think you guys are thinking to hard on how these would be attached to the car. Say they make zr1 style Vents that Cover up the stock vents on a 98-02 bird. Well depending on how they attach to the car these same Zr1 vents could very will fit a 93-97 firebird because the fenders are just about the same in shape down there other then one has vents and the other does not. (now at the top of each fender they are shaped different to fit the front bumper and hood but from mid fender down they are the same) So with that being said you could put the ZR1 vents on older fender if they where installed by say drilling holes, 3m tape or both.

See look at the stock 69 Trans Am vents they completely cover the vents on a 69 bird.

I say if they do it Zr1 for the bird and ZO6 Style for the 4gen camaros (only because you could make the Zr1 style vent fit better with the lines of a 4gen camaro)

I realize these could work on any fourth gen, i was asking about any insert inside the piece theyre talking about.

urethane piece you stick on after cutting a hole, but will it be stock style grills, new stylin inserts, etc.

Im gonna ignore the rest cause i dont think its directed at me.

interesting. could come out pretty nice for the birds. still don't think i'd really care for it non-molded in, it'll just look tacked on like the fake stick on vents every one puts on their cas these days at the tops of their fenders: http://www.autotrucktoys.com/300/Chr...nts-C1783.aspx

i think itd be the depth that makes the difference. That said, no ones gonna argue that it looks better molded, cause everything does

ive never seen a paint chop that good. I wont have time to actually do it until tomorrow but i could give it a go.

that looks better proportionally than the above ta chop, but i think its cause the scoops there are similar to the stock ones.
