the photoshops are nice and all, but the question still remains as to how this would be put into reality. none of these are just insert-able vents, these vents would all require either a brand new fender all together, or you'd have a big custom job to modify the stock fender.

lol I fooled around with this idea for a few minutes in photoshop, and it just looks kind of silly on a stock bodied Camaro.

Without a bodykit, I don't think it works very well.

vent like on that 5th gen I posted:

similar to above, but relocated:

vent like a Ferrari 599 race car:

vent like C5 Corvette, but divided by the bodyside molding:

I don't think the C6 ZR1 vents look good on a 4th gen Camaro, so I didn't mess with that. Anyway, just did this for fun.

the last one looks cool, but you would have to mold all of that on the door too

Hey Brangeta! think you could try doin the same thing as that c5 vent u did but use the c6z06 ones? i think the more jagged lines would complement the body more

Thank you!

corv271, The last two effect the door, so I think 6LE is lookin into something like your first two which stay on the fender. McNord's "A" looks the FREAKIN BOMB on the Camaro, but I WANT his "B" style on my Trans Am. Maybe I'll put vents like that when I get around to making my wide fenders/quarters. If someone were to widen the fenders, should a vent be incorported (like the C6 ZO6) or leave it plain like the widened Camaro?

Also for placement of the vents, I saw on a stylin trucks (type) of site these vents that you cut a hole out from a template then the vent walls sit inside while a lip overlaps outside.

OK here's pics from that site showing how these things sit. Remember on the vehicle shown, there was NO vent or anything and a hole just needed to be cut.

I forgot about that Lime Green and Gray Firebird. I love that thing. Definitely not an easy vent to put on like 6LE is wanting but it looks awesome.

yeah.. I still think a 69 Trans-Am vent would be the best bet for us 98-02 Firebird/TA guys.
