I suspect the people that would buy these dont do a lot of that....different people have different ideas about how to use their cars. And some of us have different cars for different uses....

Nah put em and drive the hell.out of it.. i drive my car about twice a week depending on weather. Gets a complete wash evertime and wax every other.

I wouldn't pay 60 bucks for those. the mid price ceramic brake pads i got at pep boys have a similar but slightly more dull polished looking back plate for about the same price as these and look better than your avg. pad...
