Default 1998 NBM Trans Am - Compound and Buff

Going to start this thread for my weekends work I have planned. Going to compound the Trans-Am, use a medium grit compound, then a fine, then a wash and a hand wax.

Any tips, Ive buffed a few cars, but they were lighter colours.

Any suggestions on products, and techniques?

Car does not have to be wetsanded or anything, paint is in decent shape minue scuff/swirls in the clear (Original Owner drove it year round, so snow brushes etc have scuffed it up).

Well, for my first time compounding. I think I did o.k

Cars depth looks amazing, and swirls have been removed. Im quiet impressed as it has 323,000km and original paint.

Not bad man, I work as a detailer full time and getting swirl out of darker paints can be a bitch. You did a good job on that though. I'm a big fan of the makita 9227C for the buffer and 3m's buffing compound and polish, good stuff. Nice job though man, looks good.

Looks better, but I see a lot of holograms left behind. Keep practicing. Nice improvement so far.
