Well I'm 15 (turn 16 may 10) and don't have tags on my car yet (going through the process) but other than that, sounds good.

Hey guys, big updates as promised. Possibly a few more after today. I managed to get the motor stripped of sensors and accesorys yesterday. I also pressure washed, degreased, prepped, and painted the engine bay. I used underhood satin black which should help tie in my theme nicely. I ordered a Zinc gold coating for the brake booster for a little bit more old school flair so stay tuned for that update as well. Things are moving along quite nicely. Today ill be cleaning and media blasting stuff to take to the powder coater. Ill be polishing the Cantons as well.

In regards to the Cantons can anyone tell me what gaskets i should use to keep them from leaking? Ive heard of this being a bit of a problem on these covers.

Unfortunatly i have to take a hiatus next weekend so progress will be limited for a bit but with the rate things are moving im confident it wont be much longer till shes on her way to the dyno.

Im debating right now rather to mount the 24x coil packs on the valve cover or hide them neatly under the cowl, what do you guys think? thoughts suggestions?

Heres the pics, enjoy!

These things look sick, i love em

Hole Shot!

She was pretty filthy

My helper, he didnt leave my side all day long

A testament to the performance and reliablity of the Chevy Smallblock... 160k hard hard earned miles and she still ran like a champ... my buddys going to be rebuilding her and putting it in his 91 silverado, stay tuned for that build thread as well.

Im stoked with the way it turned out!
