I wish I was around LT1's more, I wouldn't mind doing a 355 build. Yeah, the outside was immaculate, but the underhood WAS quite ratty.

HP tuner support, ls1 reliability, no optispark, and no more mail order tunes... Just to name a few... I'd say it's well worth it

Just a brief no picture update guys: I'm in the tedious clean polish paint powdercoat stage so even though ive been working my *** off I dont have a ton to show for it right now. Parts are still shuffling in Daily as well and I almost have everything I need to start putting her back together. Im working on some interior pieces Today though so I may have a little update tonight. Ill keep you guys in the loop.

On a side note if anyone happens to have a diagram or pic of how they ran there emissions delete vacuum lines on an LT1 (getting rid of it all, air, egr, evap) could you let me know... I have a basic idea but I just want to make sure I get my routing right.

^ Should be the same as an LS, but with slight differences. Got the wire mod on the pass side, hide hood latch cable on driver's side and tuck the fuse block up underneath on the driver's side.

Looking for stuff for ya.
Here's SOME.

I followed this guide. I took the red power distribution box and zip tied it under the passenger side hood bumper. Only thing I ran into that was different was the ground wire locations. No big deal.

That's the only picture I have after doing mine. One day I'll get some better pictures.

just a lil status update... the reason i havent been updating the thread is because im at the mercy of a ton of backordered parts right now. Looks like things are headed this direction though so hopefully ill have progress to show soon. Ive been busy polishing and painting so ill have a good photo update this weekend

Should start reassymbly here next week. I did manage to get this little side project done tonight though and thought id share. I took an SOS gauge pod out of a cobra and modified it to f-body greatness... tell me what you guys think! cant wait to see it loaded

Looking great man. I also went with black under the hood. Fair warning....one gravel road=8 hours with a toothbrush to get it back to the way it was.
