Default How to clean window spots???

So the other night i heard about using steelwool to clean spots off ur car windows. Has anyone ever done this and does it work?

I always say go least aggressive approach first... try a claybar first, if that doesn't work then consider going to 0000 steel wool or an abrasive cleaner.

ive done it... steel wool with mag polish... go until you reach muscle failure... then wipe off with ammonia... and mine were baked in hard core from Hawaii

0000 steel wool and wheel cleanner my car sat for a year without being touched and it took them off

i used the glass stovetop cleaner w/ wool. worked great.

I had water spots like you wouldn't believe ,even a glass shop told me I needed all new glass,got this stuff called glass scrub worked very great,windows have a few lil spots but are close to perfect,I also heard I think its autogeek or diamond geek has a glass polish that's the best,I tried everything you can think of the glass scrub worked great
