Default Hvac gone!!

I finally got around to finishing the gut job tonight.
If you've ever wondered what the entire system looked like here you go.
Lots of under dash space now too. Oh, and weight reduction.

It took about a week because I dived right in without finding out how it's put together and took my time. If you don't take breaks you could do it in a couple of hours. There's a ton of hidden screws in it.

I just completed this myself, people make it out to be way harder than it is.

That's got to be at least 120 pounds right there! If I didn't need my heat, I'd do it too.

if you read the write up on it (which tells you where the hidden screws are) and arent afriad to break some of the stuff you can ahve everything apart and back together in about 3ish maybe 4 hours. the first time i did it it took me about 4 1/2 and when i did it on my neighbors car we were start to finish 3 hours 9 minutes. (his gf times us cuz she hates when we work on the cars lol)

Just wear a parka and it's all good!

There was a screw that had to be taken out from inside the heater box, there's no way it can be done without breaking it. There are a few other spots like that as well. Most are easy if you can reach them.

Can you post up the link of the write up. I'm going to be doing this real soon, just waiting on a couple of parts.
