Its as much about tire and wheel selection as suspension...

i think what helps the f-body is a larger diameter wheel (18-19") with a decent size tire to fill the wheel well. i think that all these "slammed" f-bodies look OK however they sit way too low sometimes, the fronts look tucked way to far in the fender, and stock wheels and tires are so small they dont look proportional to the vehicle, not to mention the handling of the car isnt the best. the camaro and t/a's have huge wheel wells so a bigger rim/tire is needed to make it look right.

I just put some 265/60's on the stock wheels and it appears to sit lower even though it doesn't. And most of the cars are aren't F-Bodies on this thread have body kits... I think the Camaro's with the RS ground effects sit pretty well.

Anyone else think it's funny that the excuse is "looks over function"... but it looks like a$$?? Lol. Guess I'll jump on the whoring out of our own cars too. I think mine sits ok, it may be a tad too low, but I like it.

Chris

I am all for a clean look of a lowered car, but a slammed car with the wheels all tucked in probably drive horrible..

Exactly what I was thnking. There isn't ONE single factor in getting good stance on an F-Body. Your wheels play a part as do your suspension components (ie springs, shocks) and even body mods like rolling your fender lip.

I'm always looking at how high the front bumper sits off the ground. The body lip kits help with that a LOT.

Nice lookin cars, 97rammst and Chaman!

those are all great looking cars, i was honestly talking **** mostly to get pictures, and hellaflush is kinda what i was looking for. just trying to see if its been done.

those are some seriously sexy cars though, i know how tough it would be to go lower though because i live in wv and my car is barely lowered, i cant go anywhere with it haha
