Default cf wrapped "berger" panel

I wrapped this today. first time wrapping so its got its flaws and i learned a thing or two but it came out pretty cool.

its a knock off 3M di-noc wrap . personally i like real 3m di-noc CF wrap better because its matte look is similar to dry carbon but this looks cool too. The piece i bought wasn't long enough but this was only my practice piece before i attacked the interior for my MKIV supra. I didnt mind splicing the shorer pieces together.

Hmm, never seen this done before. Very interesting. Neat to see the berger panel modding get taken in a different direction.

I like it.

I have been planning to try to do a ceta mod on my TA using carbon fiber di-noc. But the curves involved in that will be pretty tough to make look good.

I second this. How does this stuff hold up in the weather over time? I think I'd rather save up my money and get a true carbon fiber wrap.

i was thinking about doing this. if i put some clear coat on it, do you think it would work to add a nice gloss finish?

the actual 3M stuff has a 4 year outdoors warranty/ life on it

i used mulitple pieces because i just used what I had. and it was my 1st time wrapping anything. if i did it in 1 piece with my current " skill set" it'd probably be completely ruined. probably easier with two people doing it.

did you use a heat gun to wrap the edges or just cut it flat and leave it that way? just curious as to how the edges turned out

on a side notel actual 3m product is probably 10 times easier to use because it has air channels to help evac bubbles
