Default Custom, Custom taillights...

I almost put the flame suit on...but changed my mind. These look damn good.

Stock rear with blackouts...
<img src="http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid47/pe772e6cda18cf6da773c2575a8b12757/fcc43b3f.jpg" alt=" - " />

Then I ordered carbon fiber g3 altezzas...
Yuck...They look great, but look at that clear/white outline around them where they come together and are glued. Looked absolutely stupid on the black car.
<img src="http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid47/p6c8bd4adccac72a9ef739978f65bd0d2/fcc43b52.jpg" alt=" - " />

Then I masked off parts of them, painted & cleared. I've got some work to do. Im going to go back & wet sand and get em shinier. Whatcha think??

Since you painted most of them black they are now the LEAST ricy set of Altezas ive ever seen.. I think the key was getting the CF so there is very little chrome inside the light.

If I had to have Alteza type lights then yours are what I would choose.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Im still undecided on how the outer casing bubbles out though.. probley just not used to it..

Again, good work and its nice to see innovation <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Steve..dont bring your car in my post!!! My car gets jealous easily. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

These being carbon fiber, and with the black paint I absolutely love them, They look much better at night than stock.

Todd, those are awesome. I have a set of them and had them for about 2 months maybe a lil more but I took them off b/c I HATED the clear part around them. I think I may keep them b/c I am selling them but I still don't know b/c I have a set of EXPORT TAIL LIGHTS on the way! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> But that looks great and was a great idea. I like them. BTW I emailed Jon and told him about the springs but havn't heard anything back, have you?

You know, I think I agree! They look pretty good! I think I just stopped searching for the Japanese lights. I'm going to save money, and put these on. What a great idea!

Todd, I think they look great painted. Definitely do what you can to make them gloss black. Camaro rears are kinda boring, so those help.

Of course, I like the picture of Christina's *** that JSears has in his avatar even better! lol
