South Jersey Auto Body of Cologne, NJ, charged me exactly $5,350 which included:
1. making significant fiberglass modifications to the Sunoco hood (as VFN Fiberglass did not live up to its high-quality reputation in my case);
2. making some fiberglass modifications to the SS spoiler from The Spoiler Company;
3. adding another $350 for the German-based Glasurit optional clearcoat that adds durability and 35% more gloss to the paint (according to the shop manager, the paint is good for 50 years);
4. the actual paint job;
5. and sanding/painting the brake calipers.
The body shop is on the expensive side, but they're well-known in the area for their high quality paint jobs and they have worked on my GTO in the past.

Thank you. The rims can't be purchased new anymore as Forgeline discontinued them a few years ago. They are the Forgeline RS 5-spokes. MTI in Texas used them for their ZR-28 LS1 Camaro several years ago and they were also featured with David Tittermary's white 1LE LS1 Z28 in an issue of GMHTP.

Thank you. I didn't see the hood before it was modified, but the shop manager informed me that it looked uneven when looking out from the windshield. So, they actually added fiberglass to one side of the hood to even it out.

I don't know the specifics, but my little Bro does use a top-of-the-line Canon digital SLR camera with a special lens that I don't know the name of. He makes it a hobby to take professional-style photos.

Thank you. Yes, I have noticed that it's been a love-it-or-hate-it-kind of thing with the Forgeline RS. I am considering buying some black Fikse FM-5s or Profil 5s whenever they go on sale again. For now, I just want to get my money's worth with my current setup.
