Default Racing Seats? do they only belong in imports?

I've been looking at "racing seats" for my lt1 camaro. This is my daily/ weekend warrior, so i'm not looking for full on plastic buckets. However when i see other cars with racing seats i immediately think Ricer. I have some tears in the stock leather seats, and i'd like to save them from any more wear. I'm having trouble finding a reputable place that will fix them too.
what do you guys think, and does anyone have pictures of them in your car?

Racing seats are a great upgrade. The stock seats aren't supportive at all - the difference between them and a good set of racing seats is unbelievable.

Stock is garbage (except Trans-Ams, pretty nice especially compared to Craparo seats) so I took a set of my seats...

...and customized them:

so so glad i've never gotten stuck in the whole "thats ricer" mindset... to the point where i have to ask if i should do something based on whether or not other people will think its "ricer" or not, or where i look down/negatively upon something deemed "rice."

my car is going to be pretty loud already, with it's hugger orange paints, and black manta stripe, so i like to think everything out before i regret it
too much of anything can be a bad thing. I'm going for the clean look, with making it a racer wannabe

I LOL'd at the thread title.

I 'd call a fart can car that runs 17s with race streets ricer and thats still a maybe because I don't blame the owner lookin' for more comfortable seats if seats in said slow car were crappy as craparo seats.

If your stock leather seats have rips in them, but you like them, then why not just recover them? I love the look of the stock leather.
