i don't know about the turn signal bubls, i put them in mine and didn't notice a huge difference, but i've got a 6LE overlay so i don't know how they affect stock overlays. My needles did the same thing as yours though, so i picked up some white/clear S86 needles and everything came to life:

i'd be really curious to see what difference the xhp5 bulbs make. everyone had suggested the xhp6's when i was researching mine and i kept thinking of trying the xhp5's but ended up not going that route. if they make a difference, i'll at least swap my turn signal bulbs if not all of them.

Did you check that each bulb is lighting up? It looks like one is burned out.

well the thing about it is when i had the stock bulbs in there they lit up the same way they are now. i've been kinda wondering if it might be the socket.

^^Yeah, its probably the socket. Bend the little prongs outward so they are making contact with the circuit board. I had a similar issue and its been fine since I did this.

^^Each SMD on the bulb is about 120 degrees, but since there are multiple SMDs on each bulbs, its more like 360 degrees.

Okay part 2 of the blue LED switch. My comp 2 gauges are white LEDs but you cant change the color. I wasnt about to break them open to tinker with the bulb. So next best thing. I got blue headlight film from ebay. This is a test fit of a piece I cut with scissors. It came out the exact same color as my dash lights!! The film is thick tint about $10 shipped for 2'x2' section.

if you cant find the headlight film go to your local tint shop and get some colored tint. i was able to get a small piece of blue tint for free. since the fog/asr switches had covers on the bulbs i needed something to get them to match the gauges. plus you can layer it up to get the shade of color just right. as far as leds, i use the WLED-xHP for the gauges. i know they are only 120 degree and not 360 but they light the needles up prefect and evenly on the gauges without any hot spots.

This is a very cool mod. I think it would look sweet if maybe i did this setup but with green LEDs.

I like the look but do not like that the needles are washed out. Its not worth it to me if you make the gauges basically unreadable.

How is ur headlight switch panel so bright? lol maybe its just mine but the line for the dimmer switch and half of the "O" is berely lit, it was like that with the stock bulb so i though the LED would help it out. But it didnt, maybe i just got a sucky panel that dont distribute light

Also I thought about getting needles but I was afraid Id screw up the little motors or something and screw up the readings...post pics when u install please!

I soldered in a hyper white LED in a while back in the headlight switch, it also has a thick blue film covering the bulb.

Just finished up the ASR and Foglight switches. I removed the rubber coating on the tint bulbs and scraped the white coating under the switch to let more light out. Then added the blue film.
