Default So I installed blue LEds in my gauge cluster

Superbrights blue WLED-xHP6 etc. The color came out great and theres no hot spot. BUT my speedo/tach needles are washed out and hard to read. Any cure or fix? Also I left the stock 194 bulbs in the turn signals. Is it worth to change them to led? Also the HVAC can now be seen

It was way too easy and the bulbs $54 shipped 8 for the gauge cluster and 2 for the hvac. I only used 6 in the GC I didnt install blue bulbs in the turn signals.

Remove clear plastic cover, then remove speedo. they are clipped in. Flat screw driver on top clips and it pops off.

Take the needles out, scrape the orange paint off the backside, then polish them with a dremel if you want. I did that in the 3rd gen, they look crystal clear during the day, with the lights on they glow a really neat red.

You need to swap the needles OR get xHP5 bulbs instead since they have a forward firing SMD.

EDIT White LEDs will illuminate everything and will produce a lighter blue color.
