Default Black calipers on black Camaro?

I've seen a ton of red painted calipers on black Camaros, but has anyone painted their calipers black? If so, I would love to see pics. I'm thinking about going black on mine, but I want to see how it looks first.

Thanks!

I think that would look nice if they were kept clean. More subtle than red.

black caliper and black brackets would look good. If you want to add a little something to it you can get the vinyl CAMARO decals to put on the front calipers. Just pick a color that goes with the theme of the car.

Im not a fan of red calipers and agree with sparky it would be more subtle, maybe so much that it wouldnt be noticable and not worth it.. No pics of your SS?

I'd say gloss black brackets with silver calipers with black "Camaro"/"Corvette" lettering with chrome/clear corner lights and black/polished lipped wheels.

I would like the stickers but I just don't want to for out the cash for them (all the ones I've looked at are pretty expensive). Nice calipers drone, but I would like to see those better pics you're talking about.

Here's my car:

As you can see, they're already painted silver for a cleaner look. I just want something different.

search "brent franker" on google or PM me for the link, they are $10 a pair (front calipers). I get all my vinyl decals from him and they are very good quality.

checkout fourth circle designs. i'm thinking they're a sponsor on here and i'm pretty sure their caliper decals are less than $10.

i've got a black ss and i did black brackets and red calipers with silver camaro decals, then high temp clearcoat over all of it
i think the black breaks it up nicely and the red matches the ss on the front fenders

I think it depends if you want it to be noticable or not... Black will be very hard to spot.. depending on what wheels you have too.. some one said silver.. I would go with that since all the black camaros are doing red..

Mine are painted black. They are pretty dirty and need to be touched up, but they look cleaner than stock non-painted calipers.

I'm in MS too. Where are you at?

These are the best pics I could find of mine... I used por15 coating and brushed it on and then added a top coat of por15. You brush it on, but when it dries, you don't see brush strokes. VERY nice product!

My current 18" C5 Z06 rims:

Band director, those are really great pics! I'm leaning toward black calipers with red lettering, and red brackets... or maybe just all black. I'm leaning towards black more, i think, because I do not see it as much as red.

And mxmccarter, I'm from the Tupelo area. What part are you from?
