I think the best way to go, would be to get
a WOT switch like they use for nitrous, and
use it to open your cutout. Maybe with a
relay in between, if it needs juice in both
directions (to force closed as well as open;
I don't know about the electrical details).

Then you don't have to screw with anything
in the interior, and it's quiet until you
need it.

I have already ordered the panel with the conv switch and have it in place and have my electronic cutout installed. I'm just trying to find wiring information myself to make the conv switch operate the cutout.

It is amazing what you can find when you do a search.

As for the electrical wiring try the "Electronics" section.

I ordered my McCord cutout with the convertible switch already wired in. It has a relay on the back of it, but I didn't pay attention to the specifics. It uses the factory light in the switch as the indicator light. It was only $35 additional (including the switch). Sorry I can't help more with the wiring, but if anyone is looking to get that setup, Keith from MPP can set you up with it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
