I'm assuming that they didn't go through the bother of getting the kudos from GM because
A). The low cost of the item isn't worth it (They are probably made to order, not justifying the time/cost to getting the rights).
B). GM doesn't/won't support the idea

Just some guesses though

I had to have my decals made at a local shop. Thats the route you have to take
if you want a GM logo.

Got it today, good quality, slid right in...kinda dropped it as my hands are too fat to touch it really lol. Did you guys secure them on or just drop them in and they stayed fine?

When you get licensed to do trademarked logos: you are not licensed to simply place logos on everything that exists. We have specific parts in our license that we are allowed to place logos on. If we want to add more, each part needs to be added.
We were smart about they way we went about it, and have a lot of things licensed.

1) This is not one of the parts.
2) GM is not goping to sanction/approve a vin number block off plate.

So that is why no logos.

Now what most people are doing is buythese blank, and placing decals on them.
The best solution.
