OK,

A piece of the acrylic we use will fit there, and I did get the dimensions of the window around the VIN number. 4 7/8" x 1 1/8"
So that means we can make something for it.

Awesome news ! So will it be easily removable with a tab or something ? Also will
it shift around while driving or will it be pretty much fixed until desired removal ?

I havent gotten that far yet. I still need to make some kind of estimate on what the entire area under that glass is. It cannot be adhered, so a rubber backing might be in order. I need to check it out some more once all of our snow melts.

I would be interested in a blank black piece to blend in with the rest of the dash.

I am all for it. I keep my vin covered at all times and to have something nice to cover it would be better than what I'm currently using.

If you guys know what you want to place on them get a specification list together for me.

Thanks, Roger

Can you make mine with a flat or matte black background, and etch or insert Z28 in mirror acrylic, and insert the "Z" in black mirror acrylic?
I want it to look like my badges y'all made me.

True but for the do-it-yourselfers who never take their car to a shop (which I believe accounts for the majority of tech), this would not be an issue.
