Vote on next car color! I've narrowed it down to three possible colors for my Formula. With 86K miles on it, it has its share of rock chips, door dings, and some jackass keyed my back bumper over Thankgiving holidays. Time for a fresh paintjob. These are the only colors I am considering, so lets get some votes.
Hayabusa Silver-Pearl Blue:

Re: Vote on next car color! Glad you had the Admiral Blue as a choice. Was gonna suggest it until I saw you had it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> There was a notchback Mustang I saw painted that color and it looked damn good!

Re: Vote on next car color! Its a tuff call. which color would you take off of the Hayabusa, the silver or the blue? either one of those looks really good. plus it would be cool to match your truck too. hey are you going to MTI this saterday?

Re: Vote on next car color! Both blues look good. Just another option. Have you ever heard of Medium Quaisar Blue Metallic? It was the color on my 92 Camaro and looked real sharp. Not too dark and not too light.

Re: Vote on next car color! A friend of mine has a Viper that is a dark grey color and a new Dodge Ram that is the same color. It is kinda cool that they match. I think that he even put matching stripes on them. They look great for photos.
I forgot one other thing with the grey color. You are going to have to paint all of your hinges, jams and every nook and cranny of your car or it will look like poo-poo.
On the other hand the Gran Sport is my fav. of all corvettes so if you decide on blue I would choose this one.

Re: Vote on next car color! The storm gray is SWEET! The blues are very nice as well, but are too bright for my taste and just wouldnt look too good on a formula IMO. NBM is great color for a stock fbody, but if you are painting it might as well change things up a bit and make it look like a brand new car; plus as we all know your formula isnt a stock fbody!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Re: Vote on next car color! I like the storm grey, it would be pimp to be pulling the formula that was the same color. The admiral blue is a little 'lite' for my taste, almost toyish looking. The busa blue is sweet for sure but I don't think it will be much different from what you have.
If it was my car I would paint it a silver with a mettallic blue, ferrari and lexus both have similar colors. I have been playing around with that color in PS and it looks soooooo sweet. That or the dark green they put on the vettes and truck, it so dark it's almost black.

Re: Vote on next car color! I would go with the busa blue with 10 coats of highly polished clear <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and some storm grey accents.
Are you getting the paint done while the motor is out?
