Hell, I bought 2 sets of 6k 55w from them and they work just fine. Guess I'm in the minority on this one.

Just recieved my 3rd kit from them. bought a 6k kit for my R1 with slim ballasts. Recieved them 4 days after placing the order. They've been on the bike for a few years now and havent had a single issue with them. Ordered another 6k kit for my hid/sealed beams on the TA. Yea i know there are haters for this setup but again, approximately a week after placing the order they came in, no issues whatsoever. I ordered my most recent kit (raptor ballasts) 8k for my HID projector retrofit attempt (4.5k spare bulbs) and they came in 4 days after the order. So far i've had great experiences with them. Just got around to testing one of them on the car and i'm excited to get these things a bit more finished then they are. Guess im one of the lucky DDM customers X3

I find it hard to believe you guys think they have 4 colors when I know all my friends combined have 3K (yellow), i have 5K, 6K, 8K and 10K. The difference is noticeable. Maybe the locations are to blame? The one in westminster by me is well organized. My 5K fog kit with medium ballasts was $38 with tax. Not sure how the one in San Diego is (i think its their primary). When I was there everyone there was recommended to go there by a friend. Ill ask to see if they know anything about whats going on though

DDM tuning will no longer be selling hid kits. interesting because i literally bought a 55watt 9006 kit last week. waiting on my battery harness.

As DDM Tuning did its thing, I personally got involved in other things. I've talked about many of them before, so I won't bore you with too much of it. But essentially, we started an LED company, we invested in other companies in China and bought a factory in Taiwan that makes things for bicycles and sewing machines. We invested in shipping franchises and I started buying up a lot of apartment buildings when the economy tanked and asset prices plummeted while rent incomes actually increased.

Let me give all of you a life lesson. It never hurts to be heavy in cash. Most Americans have lunch money.

So Jimbo, where we going with this?

Basically the best way to make a lot of money is to run a market. The best way to run a market is to know when there is a market or a better one opening up and flog it hard for cash. That's what I've done off to the side. DDM Tuning has been focused on just selling you guys good product for cheap.

Behind the scenes, we have been looking hard at the business. Most people don't do this and that's why people fail.

So, amazing as this sounds, DDM Tuning is going to reinvent itself for the next decade.

A lot of the products we sell now, we are not going to be selling anymore. Some things we sell we will sell a lot more of and most surprising of all, we are going to move out of HID and a lot of other lighting products within the next several weeks. By the time we get to March 1st which is Apexcone's 10th anniversary, we will be doing something mostly different.

Go ahead, call me crazy

I was gonna go do a test cause I thought my Impala has 8000k (my TA has 6000) but I just checked my orders and they're both 6000.. I've ordered 4 kits from them and never had any problems, but sure seems like something is getting fishy. Regardless, everything I've done with them has been nothing less than satisfactory.

I had these HID's in my old WS6 for 2+ years. I'm almost positive the new owner still has them. Any auction listing will do, just tell him the bulb/color you want.

That's the same one I got my kit from over 2 years ago. I've had no problems with it (no relay harness used either). Pricing is cheaper now than it was when I first got them.

Very possible. I got them from him because someone in some thread somewhere said to go with him lol
I always always stress to go with the slim digital kit. More reliable than the analogs from everything I've read, and mine have never failed to turn on even when it was -15 outside with a -35 windchill or something stupid cold like that.

Ditto on Supervtec. If DDM truly will not be offering their Slim HID ballasts any more I'll be buying the ones from Supervtec.

Haha, the two week back-order wasn't long enough, so now I get a "we don't know when your parts will ship, Sorry" email from them this morning:

"Thank you very much for your recent order. As you may have noticed we are temporarily out of stock of the Raptor 35 watt HID Kits. We received some of the 35 watt kits but only for certain bulb types. Right now we do not have an ETA on when the next shipment will be in. Here are the types of Raptor 35 watt kits we have in stock if you want to modify your order. Also we do have the Raptor 55 watt kits for all the bulbs.

Rap 35 watt H1 in 3k, 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt H3 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt H7 in 3k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt H8 in 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt H9 in 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt H10 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt H11 in 3k
Rap 35 watt 9005 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt 9006 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k

We sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your order. Fulfilling all of the back-orders (including yours) will be a top priority so your order will ship within two business days of our receiving the kits. When your order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking number. If there is a significant change in the shipping schedule, we will update our website with that information and will send an email, as well. We appreciate your patience and for your having chosen DDM Tuning.

I got 6k 35 watt bulbs from them. I could tell they were cooler than 6k but kept telling myself it was in my head, possibly my lmc housings.

Atleast now I know I'm not crazy!! Mine are way more "blue" than 6k should be. My girls Lexus had 5.5k and are noticeably whiter than mine. But her housings are alot better, they self level and follow the road..
