this is probably a stupid question but.. what the hell are the triangle shaped "eyelet" looking things behind the back seat? im sure its in the owners manual but there was not one with my car when i bought it

oh well that makes sense but the car seat do and do not book they gave me at the hospital after my daughter was born uses the Camaro back seat as a unacceptable seat... man thats good stuff
In one of my previous cars, I measured the area right there, and went to Lowes and bought a small piece of plywood that I cut to fit the area, and mounted a n2o bottle there. Since the gas tank is right under that area, I did not want to risk drilling into the body and piercing anything. You couldn't tell the plywood was there, and the windows were tinted 5%, so it was hard to see the bottle as well.

As others above have said, its anchors for child seats.
Since I don't have children, I removed the anchors and bolted-in a box I made.

I own a 98 BlaZeR2 and I have 4 of those things in the cargo area. I use them to tie down all my **** back there. Although there are none in my 99 Camaro, Im sure they serve the same purpose. To bungee strap down your pillow.
