We got our pictures taken.
As soon as we get done working on orders early one night we will watermark and list them with all of the options. We have to process paid orders as a priority here, so as soon as we get done early one night with orders we will be finishing listing these up.
We have learned from past experiences not to load up photos without our watermarks on them.
We have had our pictures of our items show up on competitors websites and ebay auctions as thier parts, and selling them like that. So now we only publish photos with the watermarks on them. Just takes a little longer, not much.

Thanks, Roger

Completely understandable. Just picked up some etched doorsills in the meantime that I've had on my list as well.

We do have the Chrome ones with the factory etching listed.
http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/1249/17791

We still need to list them without the etching. Supposed to be this afternoon that we get that done. The ones with no etching will have black chrome as an option. Once we prove out the etching on the black chrome it will be added to the etched set as an option.
If you want GM logos instead of the factory markings on these let me know.

Thanks, Roger

I have answered every question about these from at least two of you guys and frankly I am getting confused.
However, I am not confused about what it required to do that job, so here it is:
This setup work is the main issue.
1) Precise measurements need to be made. These have to fit properly.
2) They need to be programmed and drawn. Easier said than done.
3) Then you need to also draw and program fixtures to hold them while they are being cut. A fixture to hold it top, and then hold them bottom. So two sets. Also easier said than done.
All of this work involves a very significant amount of time. Tool selection and tooling paths are all part of the programming.

Now for all of this work which is aforementioned, how many sets of center caps will we be making for it? If it is only one set they will be expensive. Because all the costs of the programming and fixture work must be absorbed by only one set of caps.
There are lots of types of wheels, with many types of center caps. So I am sure the quanitites would be not very high, for a specifically made set of fixtures and programs.

This is why we bought our own machine. Because we could not get any local shops to do anything, unless you gave them a 100 piece order.
Or it was an arm and a leg to get something done.
Even prototype parts were outrageous.
Even shops I used to work for, were wanting my firstborn kid.
Even when we did the drawings for them, it was still very high.
As much as I did not like it, I did understand why.

Thanks, Roger

Okay since new caps are out of the question . What if we sent our caps to you
with the emblems filled in and sanded smooth , Would you be able to hydrocoat them
to achieve the stainless/machined look to match the wheels ?

Yes that was my solution, at least in my head.
We have a brushed metal film, that will come out as straight lines across the face of the caps. This gran direction we can get pretty close to a specific alignment if needed.
It would work, but might not match the rest of the wheel. Even having them milled, they might not match the rest of the wheel anyway.

Please let me know.,

Thanks, Roger
