Ok guys I have a 98 trans am witht the WS9 outlaw hood on it, I'm pretty sure they make the blackbird stripes for it so I'm going to get something, car is just to plain looking for me as it sits, my girlfriends wants me to go yellow, but that reminds me of the song 'black and yellow' to much lol, anyways I was wanting to see what color everyone seems to like on black, I was thinking silver but seems to be a lot already don't like that, question, do you guys thing the ws9 hood is to tall for blackbird stripes to look good?

I think it will look great, id go with white, silver, or red. In that order. Blue might look good also.

flat blk!!! I did hockey stripes on my camaro with flat blk sticks. not to much and not to lil IMO

Huh never thought about flat black, they will most likey look good, I have silver overlays on my front cover and trans am logos on my doors so I thought about yellow, just so common, but could always peel them off and change the color as its cheap

Any more ideas guys, and if anyone has any pictures of the blackbird stripes on a WS9 outlaw hood can you post them up please, I couldn't find any to if it looked good since the hood sits a bit taller

Fourthcircledesigns makes them for the outlaw hood, I like flat black, gray, red, or silver on a black car.

My vote is for is for Matte Black. Just a fancier name for Flat Black. That shade looks great on a black car for sure.

I had a WS9 hood a few years back and done charcoal on NBM. Now I have a black TA with a WS6 hood and contemplating what to do... I think I've figured it out and it should look good, haven't seen one TA out there this way I might go. By the way if you speak with Shawn @ 4thCD he can hook you up with just about anything.

but i was thinking about going red (but i have an slp HO hood and have been afraid they wont fit right).

I just put some gunmetal metallic blackbirds on my white ws6, looks killer! I like the red and black combo, but if you do decide on that I wouldn't go with rally red because it is just too bright of a red imo. Here is a pic of the rally red:
