Default Not your typical WS9 outlaw hood.

Well, I bought this hood a year or two ago from Fireball and it's a WS9 Outlaw from Roger@USexotics.

Bryan had painted the inlets black, and had put on the hood pins since he needed them at the 170mph trap speeds he was seeing.
This is what it looked like...

Well, I was looking at different hood pins and thought about going billet, then I saw different flush mount systems and came across the Aerocatch ones which are pretty slick.

I got those installed and had been thinking about doing hood stripes for a while but wasn't sure what to do. I finally decided on blackbird stripes and contacted Fourthcircledesigns.com and discussed getting the blackbird stripes larger to fit the WS9 outlaw and he already had them, but they weren't on the site.

Got them in, and installed them yesterday and was finally able to get the car outside and take some pics today....

So here it is.

I may repaint the black 'nostrils' in a satin black to better match the stripes which happen to be flat black.

I know it's not for everyone, but it's not like everyone's either.

Looks real good Brien. Definitely makes a statement while still being subtle.

Looks good. Curious why you didnt want to paint the latches to match the cars paint?

I thought about doing that, and still might, but figured I'd try it as is and see how it looks. Between the latches, blackbird stripes and the ram air vents, it all ties together nicely.

I'm not really into that look personally. Maybe a satin black, but I like the way they look now being a gunmetal color.

Wow glad to see the hood came out really well! I'm gonna buy those same latches right now. I read one of your threads about your WS9 fitment. Mine does the same damn thing man. Hey if you have any suggestions on placement, could you pm me?

Car looks sick!

Love the bb stripes, of course I'm kinda partial to them. And those are some killer looking hood pins.

I think that looks really good IMO..and I agree that it would look better if the inlets were the same color as the stripes

People are always giving me **** about my hood pins - I may just have to invest in a set of those and paint them red to make them blend in.

"not typical"? I was expecting more than a little paint and hood pins. I haven't figured out the hood pin fad yet either.. :/
