Found reason for cheap tin sounding passenger door.
SInce the car was new (2002) I've hated the way the passenger door sounded closing (tinny to the point of embarrassing). "Honey don't slam the door"
Yesterday I started my Secondskin Damplifier Pro/Luxury liner Pro install and found the reason.
The front end of the door's reinforcing bar is Loose! It rattles about 1/4 inch against the outer door panel. But the bolts are tight...like they used the wrong size!
I'll just wedge something in there with some silicone gasket sealer.
Looking forward to the quieter ride. I don't want to dampen the engine or mild Magnaflow sound, just the road noise and tinny sounding doors.
