Default Rough Z28 brought back

Here's one I did a couple months ago. It was in very rough shape, heavily contaminated, heavily oxidized, heavy swirls, etc... It got a 2 day correction then sealed with Blackfire wet diamond. Finished pics are a little blurry, my apologies on that. Also headlights were bad but were not requested to be polished.

Under the lights....

Finished pics.. Sorry I was in the rush and I'd already inspected it under the halogens and put them away...

You should've done the f-body community a favor and polished the lights as well as taking off those god awful wheels for them, they look like they came off a late 90's buick.

Again, heck of a job on bringing back the paint. The before pictures look terrible.

Thanks! I like it a lot. However Blackfire Wet Diamond is a sealant, not a wax. They do make a wax, but this isn't it.

That sealant you're talking about..... does it basically make it a little bit harder to swirl/screw up the finish again?

An Amazing job on the detail but the crusty headlamps and ugly wheels are very disrespectful to the job lol

Nice job! I guess trick is to never let it get that bad in the first place.
FWIW, I just switched from sealer to carnuba on my excellent peuter finish. So much richer, deeper shine with the Carnuba.

I like the wheels. Almost as much as I like my rare 16" snowflakes :-)

There aren't really any products that will prevent swirls/scratches. Its more of a chemical barrier than a physical one. You still need to use proper washing/drying methods to avoid that.

The only product that can do a LITTLE bit of that prevention is Opti-Coat. And its not available to the public.
