I do not have leak problems... Guess that's part of living in California and not parking it downhill when it rains.

you would think someone at GM would come up with the idea to install a drain tube
in that area of the quarter panel. when the car was in its prototype stage.

I rather not have those because they get plugged with crap after sometime and then they start getting rusty.

My car had a hole drilled in the bottom of the spare tire area (presumably to take care of water that leaked in around the antenna mast). I left it open but covered it with a mat of butyl sound deadening. With the weather where I drive, it doesn't really matter.

Ditto, check the t-tops. The outside corner, if it drips, it will drip and work down to the bottom of the seats. Mine had the same issue until I replaced it all and no leaks now.

What was I THINKING???
Talk about a comedy of errors...

I was looking forward to taking the car out on a very rainy day yesterday. I still have the side panels and carpeting up. So I wanted to get a good look at leak sources, besides my rear hatch/washing theory.

I also had disconnected the battery while I put on the Stranos this weekend.

So, I'm out in the pouring rain, and I realize the CD player needs to be reset because of the battery disconnect. I stop and pop open the hatch.... and a half gallon of water pours in off the hatch

Then down the freeway to Target, the road noise is loud due to the stripped interior. And I don't notice til I come out of Target that the passenger window was down an invisible 1/8"...letting another flood of water in..

So much for my rain test...

Sounds like you need to pop some drain plugs!
