Led door lights!!
I took off the Assembly that the factory bulb fits into. Drilled the hole out to the size of the led. I then took the led and grinded off the top of it to a flat angle that matched the door panel. Then pushed the LED into the door panel untill it was flush with it. This way it is flush like the plastic part that the light did shine through. Then used a decent amount of hot glue to hold the LED in place. Then wired it using a resister to the factory door bulbs wiring harness.
I was going to go with super white leds, but decided to try blue since it would match my indiglo gauges.
Shot showing the back of the panel

Was trying to show the LED flat and flush with the panel

The black stuff was from a marker where I was coloring the flat ruff service of the LED with a marker to help hid it in the day. I got a little bit on the panel!! Opps

Next two are night shots. Sorry its blurry, the camera shutter stays open longer and I shake sooo....

What do you guys think?

It kinda reminds me of when I rode in my friend's BMW. They have some kinda light in the roof center console that shines down and gives a neat dull orange glow to the interior. I've always wanted to duplicate this, and something like the LED's that you show may be the way to go about it.
Also, where do you get "indiglo lights" I've heard of Indiglo overlays, but never replacement bulbs.
