i hate how slow the windows go up had to replace a motor in my lt1 (wasn't fun), the squeaks and noises when your driving, speakers (my lt1 came with bose then i get my 2000 ss and had horrible speakers...), and the hump on the passengers side because everytime my girlfriend gets in the car she crys about it

i maybe the minority on this but i actually like my 97-02 camaro interior (93-96 camaro's are
) with the exception of our stock gay steering wheel and the cup holders , i like that its nice and simple, i feel the 5th gen interior is 100x worse too flashy and way too much plastic crap
although gto's are much nicer inside

The whole car is crap unless you leave factory, Gm should have more factory aftermarket options. The only thing I like about them is their performance. The Iroc was a beautiful car, the 93 were so ugly but the performance was a no brainer

The pos speakers , the fact that my car feels like its falling apart when i go through a pothole (improved since I've got koni's over the deCRAPPONS) , the passenger side bump ![Bang Head](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_banghead.gif)
lets see , the power antenna , slowest moving windows in the history of automobiles , the ugly side mouldings , daytime running lights , stock ride height .. and in the case of my particular car , the L36 sitting under the hood ..

Did anyone mention the damn drivers-side seatbelt? I'm ALWAYS untwisting the damn thing. Also: Rattles coming from my passenger side, gauges hidden by the steering wheel, the "check GAGES" light (c'mon!), and the lifters tapping during starts. Also, the gaps between the plastics on the dash, i.e. around the a/c vents, stereo.....it just feel like you can rearrange the whole dash with your hand! ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Other than that, love my baby!

Window motors, cracked door panels, stripped headlight gear, ten bolt rear, 2.73's, the hump on the pass side floor, the ride, cheap feeling of the turn signal stalk, skinny steering wheel (really??? on a car like this? My Grand Cherokee has a nice fat steering wheel rim, but not my sports car?), piston slap.
On the other hand, LOVE the power, the sound, the handling, the t-tops, the low driving position, the view out the windshield, the way you can see the rear quarters bulging out in the side view mirrors (more of a Bird thing, I think), and the ability to dust most everything else on the road.
And not to mention that even 13 yearslater, these cars are still DEAD SEXY.
Lets face it, there's a lot NOT to like about these cars. From common minor mech issues, to some not so minor design flaws.
But crack the throttle on a nice warm day with the T-s off, how could you NOT be in love with these cars????

All pet peeves:
1) Flattened factory Y pipe
2) Passenger side floor "hump"
3) The amount the doors open out, too far
4) RH Door power window wiring not sufficient
5) Torque arm bushing difficult to replace
6) Spark plug accessibility
7) fog light bulb replacement
9) seat belt configuration
10) No subs in verts

some good points though , gap between the dash , seatbelt , obviously the rattles , but the looks , the sound , the power , the feeling of riding in an F-body , greater then the faults
I mean my mums bmw has an amazing stereo compared to my car , better brakes , but i still hate everything else about it , i love the transmission and the ride of my dads car , i still wouldnt own it over my firebird..
but its ok to accept its flaws

I agree with what everyone else said, a lot of my pet peeves have been stated, I'll try to find some new ones!
1. You always have to press the hatch release button a few times before it opens
2. After washing your car, when opening the hatch, water spills into the interior - and even when you think the car is dry, water still keeps sneaking out onto the rear bumper
3. It's hard to carry on a conversation in the car without raising your voice!
4. The engineers built the whole car, and then said "Oh ****, it still needs exhaust."
5. Squeaky center console lid
6. WS6 rims peel after a while
7. T-Top seals
And whoever said you can never feel
completely comfortable, I agree with you 100%!
I can't leave without bashing the 10 Bolt, I mean really GM?
Having said that I do love my car a lot
And I could find many more things that I like rather than dislike.
