No these arent power seats, which I dont mind because I never used the power seat function anyway.

An advantage over cloth Ive noticed is that its easier to get in and out of the car. You just slide right in

when he was referencing was drilling the plastic seat belt guide. the s2k seats have two screw holes already in the seat, the plastic guide just has to be modified for the correct spacing of those bolt holes.
