Default New interior LEDs

I REALLY gotta do the rest now. The others don't look right against the new bulbs.

before

AFTER. (They're supposed to be blue-ish white.. but look green)

New map lights too. These fit REALLY loose, but I made it work for now.

They look really dim from 10-40 mph but it may just be the camera angle, lighting.

10-40 looks pretty bad. Turn the bulb 180 degrees and it should light right up, other than that they look good. I am considering trying warm white leds to try and get a WHITE color rather than the bluish color.

^ Yeah it is dim. Did they say you have to grind the top down to get them a little better? I'll mess with it tomorrow.

And was it me or was that gauge bezel/shroud a PITFA to take off? Almost seemed like I needed to drop the frickin steering column. Was just trying not to break or scratch anything.

I ordered white, but these are looking quite blue.. Oh well.

Yeah, take the inside prongs/fasteners off next time, only the outside ones are required to hold it in place. I bend the whole thing to get it off and slide it out toward the headlight switch. Hey try these leds, they will be MUCH brighter than what you have now!

Ah ok, I'll try that..

And I have the xHP5 bulbs. I thought I read somewhere about grinding the top down to make it disperse better but I was feeling impatient this afternoon.

The ones I posted are SMD's, which are the brightest available without spending a fortune. Grinding them down would ruin them. The one behind 10-40 is simply turned the wrong way or has a bad connection.

What ones did you get, bayer? Mine are all HP6's and there are NO dim spots. Like Camaroguy said, try rotating it.... it may not be on.

I had HP5s on my Camaro and had dim spots. I switched to HP6s and problem went away.
