+1 That thing is gross, but i doubt there is.

Also, whose cars are these? They look really good. Looks like they took a lid meant for an LS1 car and made it fit the V6. Any ideas on how to do this?

I'll be doing this mod soon , the lid fits just fine , you just have to get a few pieces of flexible tubing to connect it to your TB.

The red one is mine, the lid is made specificly for the v6. It has the inlet just slightly offset. The battery, fuse box, and pcm cover come from tss, other then that its just some painting and cleaning up.

Pretty simple what he did. Painted the intake, got red plug wires and new coil packs and cleaned everything as well as a few other odds and ends. Looks good none the less.

I think a painted intake looks good. This is my brother's car and I decided to paint his intake while I had it off to replace intake gaskets. I felt the need to mod something so I wasn't spending my time doing a repair only, I was modding something

OP: Do the wire mod on both sides, Clean, clean and clean the engine. Hand paint the stuff on top of the intake manifold, Paint some plastics like the radiator support and lid, hide all the ground wires, stainless braid hose covers...That's all I can think of. I have YET to adjust the appearance of my V6 Bird's engine bay since I've been working on my WS6's, but that's what I'd do.
