Spicing up an 3800 II bay?

Spicing up an 3800 II bay?
Anyone have any pics of a nice engine bay with a v6? I'm entering my first car show on the 30th. (Band fundraiser and they added a student class this year) I know the obvious things are battery covers, caps, etc. I see a lot of LS1's with painted intakes and fuel rails and fuel rail covers. Is there anything cool I can do to my V6 to make it stand out?

There is a guy on here with a white convertible RS & I remember seeing pics of his bay & all the work he had done & it looked real nice, I will see if I can find it, his username is right on the tip of my tongue...
Edit: fbodyrs96 is his username but I couldn't find the pics I was thinking of.

Along with the ford 2valve its among the ugliest engines that comes to mind.
Maybe try to make an engine cover? Beyond that, clean everything, hide the wires, and maybe try to cut down on the clutter.

LOL, says the kid with 21 posts and joined up this month. Not sure if you browse the site much, but theres is allot more then LS1s on here. Ive seen all kinds of imports make there way to this part of the forum, along with mustangs and chargers. So please, keep your big ego to yourself.
Like said above, I think a cleaning will help the most. Nothings uglier then a muddy, gunked up engine bay. Polish the parts that you can, maybe hit the rubber hoses with some tire shine. A wire tuck will be the best looking thing.
Depending how deep you wanna go, taking off the upper and lower intake, along with valve covers and either painting them or polishing will make a huge difference.
Goodluck!

Everything above. Mostly cleaning and polishing what you can. Hit a couple things with paint, but don't overdo it. Battery and fuse covers if you want. All that will be pretty cheap and easy.
Just because it's a V6 doesn't mean it can't look good. Keep in mind how often you drive it when you pick colors. Had a buddy that DDs a white Camaro that got white FRC and white calipers. He's regretting it.

You need to re-read your thread, then come here and apologize to op for clouding up his thread with your victimhood approach to life. We have been trying to give you sound advice, but it has fallen on deaf ears.
