Did you paint the whole rotor?
They look super dark!

 

Yea just put one coat of engine paint on them it burnt right off after a few minutes

Just did this on a GTO a couple weekends ago. Worked awesome and looks great. After hitting the brakes twice it looked factory. No more rusted hats

 

Def. do it , it looks good , I have red on mine too (peeling so I'll be redoing them )

 

Well its kind of hard to even see them but the hats on my baers came black but could use some love

 

I am minutes away from doing this, but am contemplating changing my mind

The only reason is because I also have black wheels. I am afraid of the rotor hub blending too much with the wheel. I have the C5 DD's and the spokes are pretty thin. I see a good amount of rotor hat surface behind the wheels. I just don't want to look at my wheels and just see a big black center circle if that makes any sense?
