How is the finish and fitment of SLP hoods .I am thinking about getting an SLP Ram Air HO hood but I was told by a Pontiac dealer that they are having problems with SLP factory hoods in both finish and fitment. SLP still makes the SS and WS6 hoods for GM replacement parts.

I have the H.O. hood and I love it. The fitment was awesome and finish is pretty good. There are a couple of spots that could be better on my hood, but you can't tell unless you look for them.

My SS hood is perfect. But the fender right
next to it came with a factory "bonus" of
little bubbles in the paint. So go figure.

I had the Ram Air H.O. hood. It looked great! The body shop had to trim a little off of the front bumper cover to get a good fit, but turned out great. Pics in my sig.

I can't complain about the fitament at all, but the paint of mine seems to chip more readily than any of the rest of the car,go figure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
